Topic Collection: Current Status of Treatment of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

10 June 2023 Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a serious congenital birth defect disease. In the past, due to limited understanding of CDH and immature treatment methods, the mortality rate of CDH was more than 30%, and even exceeded 70% in severe cases. In recent years, significant progress has been made in prenatal diagnostic techniques, prenatal and perinatal treatment, perinatal care, intensive care, and surgical procedures, which have greatly improved the success rate of treatment for CDH patients. This topic collection highlights cutting-edge findings related to the current status of diagnosis and treatment of CDH. Suggested topics:
